Attention, Guardians of the Galaxy fans! We have some exciting news to share about the beloved EPCOT attraction, Cosmic Rewind. After weeks of technical glitches, the pre-show experience is back and better than ever!
You might recall the iconic teleportation effect, where guests are whisked away to a spaceship with a brilliant flash and a moment of darkness. Well, it seems that effect has been restored, much to the delight of fans and cast members alike.
One of our staff members, who visited the attraction earlier this month, noticed that the walls were permanently raised, robbing guests of the intended show. But fear not, as an official cast member has confirmed that the pre-show is fully operational once again.
However, here's where it gets a bit controversial... This effect has a history of being finicky, so it's not guaranteed to stay perfectly functional forever. So, if you're planning a visit, be sure to share your experience on social media and let us know if you witness any glitches or if the effect remains seamless.
In other EPCOT news, it's been a busy week indeed! The updated Frozen: Ever After animatronics made their grand debut, and several Flower & Garden topiaries appeared earlier than expected. Additionally, the Living with the Land exhibit has undergone a change, with the breadfruit tree being removed. And don't forget, the Festival of the Arts is still in full swing until February 23, 2026.
If you're curious about the full ride experience with the working pre-show, check out our honest review and the full POV video below. We'd love to hear your thoughts on this exciting development!
