Bermuda's swimmers made waves at the 70th Annual Eastern Invitational, showcasing their talent and determination. The highlight of their performance was the 15 and over 50-meter freestyle divisions, where Katherine Wheddon and Noah Maranzana stood out. Wheddon finished eighth in the girls' 'C' final, while Maranzana took fifth place in the 'B' final, demonstrating their skill and consistency. Gabriel Maranzana won the 'C' final, and Dominic Wright finished third, further solidifying Bermuda's strength in this event. Wright's performance was particularly impressive, as he also competed in the 15 and over 100-meter backstroke, finishing seventh in the 'B' final. Logan Jones placed fifth in the 15 and over 200-meter butterfly, adding to the team's impressive showing. The session concluded with the 200-meter mixed medley relay, where two Bermudian teams competed. The first team, consisting of Elanna Fulton, Noah Maranzana, Logan Jones, and Katherine Wheddon, finished fifth, while the second team, with Allison Steynor, Jamie MacFarlane, Jorgia White, and Gabriel Maranzana, finished seventh. These results not only showcase Bermuda's swimming prowess but also highlight the dedication and hard work of the athletes and coaches behind the scenes.
