Scottie has an interesting story.
And thanks to a caring Border Collie loving neighbor, Nancy Regan hopefully his
story will be turned around into a happy ending. He has never been abused or malnourished -- just not properly taken care
of.
Scottie is a lovely, flashy marked, intact 2 year old black and white tip-eared ABCA
registered male Border Collie. He is an experienced sire and gets along fine with female dogs. The same cannot be said about
males. He has TONS of coat. Unfortunately since he has not been groomed regularly his coat is beyond repair,
and he will have to be body clipped before winter comes.
Scottie is used to having a large fenced in backyard and so that will be a requirment
for his new home. He does not walk well on a leash, but that can be worked with. He rides fine in the car.
Scottie's potential would be a good farm dog, herd sire for experienced knowledgeable
breeder, goose dog, or sheep herding dog. I will consider signing over his papers into a breeding home, but I would prefer
he be neutered before he left here.
